Rx Ketoconazole

Ketoconazole is used to treat several fungal infections in dogs, cats and small mammals and reptiles. It is also used clinically for the medical treatment of hyperadrenocorticism or Cushing’s disease in dogs. It can be used in palliative therapy in dogs with large, malignant, or invasive tumors and in whom surgery is not an option. It is used frequently in dogs for stabilization prior to surgery.
