Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant. Natural Vitamin E is 2.5 times more bioavailable than synthetic vitamin E (4,000 IUs of natural vitamin E is equivalent to approximately 10,000 IUs of synthetic vitamin E). Natural E is recognized to be absorbed better and to more easily pass through the blood brain barrier where the disease exists. Supports normal nerve & muscle function as well as a healthy immune system. Works closely with selenium to protect the body from the oxidative stress. Horses are not very efficient in storing vitamin E and deficiency may be accelerated if the diet is deficient in selenium. In an alfalfa meal base to be highly palatable.
